Every customer who comes to Wetland Equipment for a custom buggy has the same basic problem: the terrain they need to work in doesn't match anything sitting on a dealer lot. Standard undercarriages sink, standard reach isn't long enough, and standard configurations don't carry what the job actually requires.
That's the starting point for every custom build: take a proven base machine and reshape it around the application. Sometimes that means scaling up: bigger pontoons for more flotation, a larger platform for heavier attachments, or additional counterweight and structural reinforcement to keep a machine stable while working at extended reach in soft ground. The build pictured here is a good example of that philosophy taken to its logical extreme: a genuinely oversized platform, engineered to handle loads and conditions a standard buggy couldn't touch.
Other custom builds go the opposite direction, prioritizing a smaller footprint for tight access or lighter weight for extra flotation margin in the softest terrain. What stays consistent across every build is the process: understand the job site, the load, and the reach required, then engineer the buggy around those constraints rather than asking the customer to adapt to off-the-shelf equipment.
